O.school’s Worst Date Story Contest

Humans, a leading relationship community, has teamed up with O.school to create the #MyWorstDate contest.

Maybe it was an unbelievable blind date, or an anonymous hookup with a twist. Maybe it was the final nail in the coffin of a long relationship. As the leaders in pleasure and empowerment, O.school is looking for your stories about those ridiculous, head-scratching, pull-your-hair out nights that you never forget. Was it a misleading profile? Bad sex? Abject narcissism? Parental monitors? The utter lack of respect for your enjoyment? Maybe it was something harder to talk about. We want to know how you got there, what happened, and what you learned from it. At O.school, we not only want to have discussions, we want to improve the conversation.

Hashtag your submission #MyWorstDate to be considered in the contest, and submit before February 16, 2018.

O.school is a new digital platform that builds and promotes a safe online environment for people to learn about sex and pleasure in real time. Providing free access to sex educators in a live streaming format, O.school is for women, men, gender-diverse folx, LGBTQ people, people of color, and more to find refuge in a platform moderated by humans, not algorithms.

All submissions will be featured in the My Worst Date collection on Humans.media. One grand prize winner will win $500, and two runner ups will receive $100 each.

And O.school educators will be watching! As the contest progresses, they may feature your stories, and any issues they raise, in their daily streams.

1. Join Vocal

Create a free account on Vocal here. If you’re already a Vocal user, skip to steps 2 and 3.

2. Create Your Worst Date Story

Create and submit your story to the Humans community, including the hashtag #MyWorstDate in the beginning or the end of your story.

3. Connect to Stripe

Connect your Vocal account to Stripe (Step by Step process here).

4. Share Your Story

Share your post on social tagging #MyWorstDate.

After you have successfully submit your #MyWorstDate story, it will be sent to the Vocal moderators. If your story needs any updates or does not meet quality standards or the submission guidelines, the story will be sent back to you for edits.

If your story is approved, your submission will appear in the My Worst Date collection.
