What is Love?

How do you define it?

What is Love?

Love is a Balancing Act.

It is the greatest answer to life’s “What ifs.” It’s a person’s understanding or acknowledgement, of the risk of investment. Even when the return looks to be, overwhelmingly, defaulting to true pain. It’s the mutual respect of both.

What we get out of life is not determined by the comforting feelings we aim for and desire, but by what shockingly painful moments we are willing and able to, not just maintain, but thrive through. Ones that we are driven from, that bring us to the feelings that make it all worth it.

Love can be used to describe a vast array of concepts and ideas, because itself touches so many of the same. Yet, very little suffices when given the burden of what describes Love. Few, if any, words or things have the divine ability to describe it in its purest form. That in itself is what makes it so unique, because we don’t know why. It makes you forget, momentarily, of times that seem better off forgotten. It gives focus, indefinitely, in the memorable times, allowing us to cherish them forever.

We feel like we have everything with it, and at times worth nothing when without.

It’s not so much relative as it is definitive. But, in all actuality, it’s definitely relative. Just the same as everything we know.

It’s one of the few truths we universally agree upon and trust in, and the one thing we all turn our backs on the most.

Love is an unbridled force of energy, and requires much discipline.

We never seem to grasp it, yet we hold onto it forever.

It must be felt by you to know that it’s real.

It is special because it can not be taught; nor is yours like any other.

It can be God, a soulmate, child or inner peace; the product of your own effort and appreciation.

Any way you look at it, it is yours, and yours alone.

It exists only in your reality. Through your perception only, can it be real.

Love is the opposite of fear, which is an illusion. It exists only to us when we create it. Illusion is the opposite of reality, which is our perception. It exists only to us when we create it. Reality is the direct reflection of our perception, which is everything. For without our perception, reality could not exist.

Love creates an Illusion of a perception we call reality, that is made up, to be felt, through interaction with something real, that can not be touched.

But, from the moment it is first felt, we know then that we do exist.

Through our existence, we realize that

"We Are the Creators of Love."

It’s inside of us, yet something we constantly seek.

It’s what we can obtain, if we learn to never let go.

It’s an appreciation of ourselves, we feel we deserve.

Love is a direct reflection of how we feel about ourselves. It is all that we can take with us, it is also the one thing we leave behind. It’s our own reward for surviving the struggle.

Love is everything we know and yet the one thing we know nothing about.

Love…is just Love.

It is how Life itself, interprets its own meaning.

It’s what gives us the strength to stand up, without the fear of falling down. It’s what makes the Universe seem so big, and though we are small, how we feel so important in it all.

It’s what separates us. Ultimately, Love is what brings us together.

Quite simply: Love is…the “Act of Balance.”
