#MyWorstDate!

So back in the day I was young, naïve, and just plan stupid! Several years ago I went on a date with, let's call them Trouble. That's all they brought me, so it's only fitting. The first date we had I tried to go in with an open mind. We met online and this was the first online date I've ever been on so I was nervous but curious to see if it was worth the hype. Before our first date we had been messaging back and forth for about a month or so. We both enjoyed the outdoors and hiking and were family oriented, so I was interested to meet in person and see what would happen.

It was a lovely summer day and we decided to met and go to a small town carnival closer to where Trouble lived. I met Trouble in a random parking lot near where the carnival was going on and we decided to walk together from there. We meet up, have our awkward hellos, this is what i look like in real life talk. Then decided to walk over and start interacting and getting to know one another. Right off the bat we walk right into some of Trouble's friends and I'm feeling like the odd man out because it seemed as though this was planned. I'm thinking to myself maybe Trouble felt uncomfortable and needed a plan B in case I was a psycho or something. So I'm rationalizing it to the best of my ability and were just walking around with Trouble's friends having a decent time, but 30 minutes in I'm thinking to myself, am I on a date with the whole crew or what? We haven't even had 10 minutes to ourselves to get a conversation going really. I am joining in the conversation as best I can for an outsider in this group of five when Trouble is like, hey wanna go check out my place? In my head I'm thinking this is a terrible idea, we already haven't had a great start, but you know what maybe we can finally talk to each other one on one now. So we head together to Trouble's house. I get a tour of the place with some small chat and one red flag is there is a bed in the middle of the living room, so I find out there are three people and one child living in a two bedroom home. Weird, but I think, okay, maybe they are all saving money, whatever. We start talking more and Trouble starts telling me about what a crazy party person they used to be. Then proceeds to tell me about how fairly recently they had a party. Trouble said they were so drunk they decided to call it a night and shower for bed, but one of the roommates' boyfriends got so drunk he came in the shower and "tried" having sex. Then the roommate joined and Trouble said they left and went to bed so they could have fun. So Trouble is talking in great detail and in my head I'm just thinking, what have I gotten myself into. I manage to have Trouble take me to my car and we part ways. Trouble's friends add me on the good ole Facebook and the next day! THE NEXT DAY! I find out she's pregnant from the attempted sex that "never" happened. Not only that but she got engaged too! Unfortunately, this person also managed to steal my identity and I had to go to court and get a restraining order. Thank goodness I have learned from my mistakes, that's all I can say!
