Gifts are a fun little thing to give your significant other. Gifts have many different meanings attached to them. For instance, some are to let your lovers know you're still interested, some mean sorry, and others are just out of the kindness of your heart. Not all gifts have to be bought, some can be made. Here are some ideas for DIY and bought gifts.
A Personalized Book
Here's one idea I really like. A personalized book is something you can give for fun, birthday present, or maybe even as a Valentine's gift. You can either create your own from scratch or have one personally made for you. But I think it's better if you make it yourself. It's more from the heart and he can tell you spent time on it. Plus, you can make the book about anything. Your first date, first year being together, or it can be about the overall relationship. Made by you or professionally made, it's something your man can always look back on and feel the love coming from the pages. This is obviously a great gift for book lovers.
Custom-Made Blanket
Who wouldn't want to be wrapped around, feeling cozy? The best winter gift to give is a blanket with you and your lover on it. Now how cute is that? Customized blankets don't cost an arm and a leg like other gifts. But you will have to do a little searching if you want to find one that fits your price range. A couple pictures and a cute little quote. PERFECT! They also have custom made phone cases, shirt , shorts, cups... etc.
Exploding Box
This Is more of a DIY gift you can give your S/O: A box with pictures and letters expressing your love. A gift you spent your time on in my opinion means more than anything, to think that you sat there and spent time to impress me is a really good feeling. There are a lot of tutorials on YouTube on how to make exploding boxes. Get your creative juices flowing.
Open When Letters
Now this is something that is DIY and a little more time consuming. Open when letters are letters that each have their own specific times to be opened. They each have a little heartwarming message in them for your S/O to read. Decorate a shoebox with pictures and little symbols put the letters in and you have the perfect DIY gift. Oh, and if you don't have any ideas on what to write for an "open when" letter, just go on Google and type "open when letter ideas," and you'll be provided with thousands of ideas and prompts.
A Gift Card
Now gift cards are great when you just don't know what to get or if you're lazy (like me). What so great about a gift card is you can get one for anywhere and you can typically go as low as putting only $10 dollars on it. A cheap and good idea.
