5 Perks of Having International Friendships

The Internet has been around for a while now, with a wide variety of ways you can make friends from around the world, and if you have international buddies, you'll understand this list!

Between Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and all the other social media options out there, it's not too hard to find friends that live in other countries. These friendships come with lots of interesting perks but, here's five of them for this list!

1. Different time-zones means if you stay up late, your friend is likely awake to talk to you!

If you're a night owl like me, your local friends usually fall asleep before you do, and it can get lonely at 3 A.M. with no one to talk to! If you've got a friend who lives a few countries away, chances are your friend has woken up to get started on their day, and might be able to chat for a while! You may have to deal with them mothering you about how late you are staying up, but it's cute that they care so much!
