The Valley’s work of art, oh what a loss it would be to let go of someone like you. You have always been detailed, hand-crafted by the greatest artist of all time.

You have turned out to be one of my greatest friends. And when it comes to you and I, it’s never been about time spent or pictures posted. Everyone has those friends in life that they can always come back to, no matter how long it’s been or how much has changed. I’m incredibly happy and blessed to say that I found that friend in you. Your smile and your light is always around when I need it. You’re individual and special in an endless amount of ways.

Ally has always had the relentless ability to make me smile. Whenever I see her, or I'm around her, or someone talks about her, I'm always smiling. I literally just now started to figure that out. It always happens, been happening for awhile, I just never picked up on it.

Ally matters a lot to me, we've never been inseparable, but in one way or another we've always been friends. She's always cared about me, as I do her in return. I remember at one point I was pretty much done writing. I hated everything I had ever written. I thought I was terrible at it and I was fully ready to give it up. But then Ally messaged me and specifically told me not to. Because for some reason, the words I put on a page meant something to her. And that means everything to me. She took the time to remind me of what I was capable of. And that means everything to me. She gave my talent, my gift, my magic...back to me. I'm not sure I'd still be writing if it weren't for her.

It’s people like this that we need to hold onto. The ones who spend their time lifting other people up and making sure that they’re alright. It’s a kind of selflessness that not everyone can possess.

We have all been given a purpose in life. We were meant to lead our own paths and find life in our own ways. But some are lead to a path that crosses others. Our purpose is to impact, influence, improve, and change. Our walks in life cut right down the middle, intertwining with all walks of life. That’s Ally’s magic, that’s what sets her apart. She’s present in everything. She is the magic beneath The Valley.

You’ve always stood out to me. Everyone around you chose to use the person next to them as a mirror, a guide on how to act or who to be. But not you, you wiped away the dust on your own pane of glass and followed your own reflection. The only indication on who it is you’re supposed to be, came from you.

You have every intention and ability to figure out life for yourself. You’ve taken nothing from no one and I wish on everything that you continue to do that. I need you to remember that you are a work of art, not a remake. You have the potential to change the world, bring nations to their knees and ride a wave that draws in the most beautiful of hurricanes.

Thank you, for sharing your magic with The Valley, this city has been through a special type of hell. And we’re blessed to have you and people like you bring it back to life.

Ally, you are fearfully, beautifully, and wonderfully made. The Valley got lucky, and I think it’s starting to understand how it wouldn’t be the same without you.
