Dates Where You Don't Have to Spend Lots of Money...

People always want huge gestures to show that they are in love with you, but I think it is the small things that count the most.

Yes, going to a fancy restaurant or going on holidays together are great but they cost money. At some point in your life you will realise that it isn't all about how much you spend on each other or how much a date costs. The important thing is that you spend time together and enjoy each other's company.

A Simple Picnic

Even going for a simple picnic together means you are spending time together in a place that is beautiful. You will get to talk about all the things that you don't get to talk about because you have a busy life. It will not cost a lot of money as you don't have to take lots of food or drinks with you. You could take a blanket, your food, and drinks in a basket and go to a place that has beautiful scenery, e.g. the woods or the beach. You can take a lovely walk together and then find a place to sit to enjoy your picnic while looking at a beautiful view.

Dinner Date

If you fancy a nice dinner out but know that it is going to cost a lot of money, then why not think about cooking a romantic meal at home. You can find millions of recipes online or even from cook books that you might have at home. You might already have the ingredients at home or you might have to go to the supermarket to get them. What you would spend on the ingredients would most likely be less then half the price you would spend at a restaurant. You can set the table with candles and place wine glasses on the table to make it more romantic. What makes the meal even better is that you have cooked the meal and it is all your own work.

Romantic Bath for Two...

Every so often it is nice to come home from work or from a busy day to a nice hot bath. Why not make it more romantic by putting candles around the bath so it lights up the room, put bubbles and rose petals in the bath to give a nice scent and even have a nice glass of wine. Take a long sensual bath date with you partner. It is a hot skinny-dipping but more intimate. When you take a bath with your partner you let your defence down, so that each touch becomes more intimate.

A Cozy Night In...

Nothing could be more simpler than this. You could even have a cozy night in, in your bedroom or in the living, wherever takes your fancy. As long as you get to spend time together, from talk to being more intimate. It is important that you have time for yourself and your partner. You can put a few candles around the room or even some fairy lights, you can sit and talk about how your day has been or end up talking about all the memories you have created together. You could even lay together and cuddle while talking or watching a film.

It is the simple things like this that mean the most to people. You don't always have to go out and spend lots of money, as long as you spend time together and talk, there is nothing better than that.
