Fake Friends

And How To Avoid Them

I will write about my experience with fake friends in 3 steps which made it more and more obvious that I mean nothing to her. I have had to go through this sadly but that gives me a chance to help you before you get hurt just as bad!

Suspicion

I first realised my friend was acting fake towards me when she came to me when she wanted something! For example, she always came to me when she needed money but one day when we went to town (because she needed some one to go with) I lost my bus ticket and had spent all my money, which half was spent on her so I politely asked to borrow £2 and she said she had no money left although just a minute ago we went to the cash point for her to pull out a £20 note. In the end I had to call my mum to collect me but my friend coincidentally missed the last bus and needed a lift home, so we had to take her home.

Making It Obvious

so me and my friend were planning my birthday party for so long, we were always talking about it, we were so excited and we went to look at halls we could rent out. My party had come and gone all too fast but soon coming up to hers. So I thought it would be like my party excitement all over again but instead it was just me. I asked if she was even excited and she always said she was but you could tell there was tension between us. So it came to her giving out invitations in school which I was so happy about because we made the invitation invites together so I was happy to receive mine. Except I didn't, she had given near to my whole class an invite except for me. So I asked her if I was invited and she told me there was no spaces left.

The Big Argument

So by this point I was getting annoyed I have only given two examples but there was many more in between! So it was the start of the weekend and she asked for me to meet up with her, I was free but I was so fed up with her using me so I told her I had to revise for my maths work, about half an hour later my other friend asked if I was free and I said yes, so we went out to town and had a great time. My friend who I went out with had put pictures and videos up on her snap chat and my friend who I had turned down had saw them. She contacted me and was mad asking why I said I was busy and I calmly replied with I don't think we should be friends and she replied with

"What ever! Don't like you any way just needed someone to be there when no one else is "

Which suggested that she used me. I didn't react just blocked her on all social media and tried to stay away from her.

I hope this short true story helps you but remember not to get upset when you know if they are fake

Ffion.
