Many times over the last 10 years their paths crossed. And many times they had no choice but to walk away. Something was always in the way. Whether it was distance, one or the other in a relationship, or at odds with each other. They knew they longed to be with one a other, but they didn't know how to make it happen. Until finally the Gods put favor in their hands. First it just started out as cute, innocent smiles, giggles, and flirting at the local convenience store. Then it became messages back and forth over social media. Then texting. And then finally they were able to find time to spend together. And oh! It was magical, for sure! She was awestruck. So quickly falling in love with her hidden desire. He was everything she'd ever looked for, everything she ever wanted. He was so much more, too.

He quickly became her every thought, her reason for everything. She began dressing more feminine and cute like, did her nails and makeup nearly every day, and was, for once, concerned with if she looked ok. Every time he saw her his jaw dropped. He always looked at her as if she were the only woman alive. He seemed to worship the ground she walked on, and she definitely worshipped his every fiber. He was her Everything, she told him. He told her she was the very woman he had always searched for, but had never found. He came to believe she wasn't a real possibility. Then she came along, and as he says, he found everything he had ever wanted, needed, and desired. They were so sickeningly blissful. She was glowing and he was walking on clouds. They'd never been happier or felt something so wonderful.

Weeks went by and they, obviously, became so much more entangled in each other. They began telling each other they loved the other. They were spending nights together, doing things as a family with all of their combined children, and even began talking about living together. But they both remained guarded. She had just spent two years being lied to, cheated on, and abused, and he married a woman who was nothing like the one he had been with before they wed. Clearly both were cautious, but they were open and honest and helped each other get through the worries and doubts. They made promises and plans, turned to each other when they were having a hard day, and never, ever fought. They were so in love!! Even a friend of hers who hadn't been around much could see it. She would always tell her how she looked so much happier and healthier with him. Obviously it was the real deal! Right? Or was it exactly as it seemed, too good to be true?
