Loving you..?

All people fall in love at some point of their life. I just find it impossible to believe that throughout all their life, they have never felt love for somebody.

And, once you fall in love, then you know how powerful that is, how this feeling drives you crazy while living in your veins and moreover, in your heart.

Of course, love isn’t that easy. It requires a lot of sacrifices, tolerance and understanding. Sometimes you will have to fight with the fire or with a storm of swords, but these things shouldn’t settle you down.

Love is truly a battlefield which can significantly change one’s life, perceptions, attitudes and values.

1. Learn to give.

When you love somebody, you learn to fight the healthy way. In a fight, it is not important about the winning, but rather learning to move towards sustainable results which are mutually beneficial. This also helps you to be less selfish or arrogant in a relationship.

2. An Opportunity to Learn New Things

Once, you fall in love, you try to learn things which the other lover likes or know. You learn new languages, new culture, new music, and new things in life facilitated by your lover. Although, you can’t get into liking all what your lover likes, at least you have some chances to expand yourself in newer domains.

3. Corrects Bad Habits

Once, you start valuing your lover, you start correcting your bad habits, only to herald your love.

4. Help Bridge the Gaps

Love won’t last forever, unless you overcome the fundamental differences that are hurdles to a happy life.

You may look like two incompatible people, but by working together in unison, you can greatly enjoy the results. Therefore, compatibility not in the process, but in the outcome or the final product is more important.

5. Teaches Respect

Respect in a relationship is reflected on how you treat each other on a daily basis. Even in an argument, you are able to respect and value each other’s opinions and feelings by “fighting” fair. Respect in a relationship isn’t about controlling your lover or making them do whatever you want them to do. Respect is actually about the freedom to be yourself and to be loved who you are.

6. Makes You a Better Person

Love enables you to increase your self-awareness and to see yourself from the lover’s eyes. Therefore, you learn how to become better from the lover’s perspective.

7. You want to do anything with and for your lover.

Once you love somebody, you try to help your lover with whatever you can. Sometimes, even by listening to their problems or sometimes, by finding time for them on your busy schedule. Moreover, your lover is now 24/7 on your mind. You cannot stop thinking about him/her even for a second. You go out with your friends and you find yourself thinking about the one you love. Do you find that unusual ?

I don’t really think so, because once you fall in love, you find hard even sleeping or dreaming. There is no dream that you build without having your lover close to you. Am I right?!

In the end, love means to be YOU (the best version of YOU). You don’t have to act different around your lover. You don’t have to pretend that everything is okay when it’s really not. You don’t have to fake your smile, but put on a real one. You don’t have to be afraid of losing them, because you will always know how much your lover loves you. Therefore, you won’t have why to doubt about your lover’s love, because faith and respect is what love is all about.
