I will go straight to the points!

3 KEYS to Building a Healthy and Purposeful Relationship

1. Self discovery

You must have defined yourself—potential, passion, and purpose.

You must have a clearly defined vision for your life. You should have answered the question: Where will you see yourself in 20 years time?

You must know what you want and also lay a strategy about how to get what you want.

You must have found your life, yourself before thinking about a partner.

♥️

2. Partner Definition

Some people, pathetically, do not even know who they want a a partner. They still have a general definition of an ideal partner—must be tall, handsome, macho and rich or good in bed. Well, it's alright for you.

For a purpose driven person, you must be seeking for another purpose driving person that can complement your ambitions, not someone that would rather suppress or discourage you. It's wrong.

REMEMBER, define yourself first then you define your life partner.

♥️

3. Foundation is everything.

Build the right foundation for your relationship. At the onset of your relationship ask a lot of tricky questions to really get to know that person, before you throw your commitment. Some people are really deceptive with the love thing, and once you let your heart go before your brain, you will step in to pods.

I will always suggest, start as friends and let the love grow from there, rather than just fall inside love like some ocean... You will certainly get drowned.

HOW TO SUSTAIN A HEALTHY AND PURPOSEFUL RELATIONSHIP

1. Openness

Discuss essential things. Ask before you judge. Don't keep secrets, always be open, confront whatever thing you think is not right.

2. Innovation

Discover new ways to show love. Always be there when you are needed and be good with managing your time to give your partner time as well amidst your business or life endeavors.

Go for new adventures and learn to do more things together. Build the bond and daily make it stronger.

3. Don't Quit Along The Way.

Whatever ways you show or express love to your partner, keep doing it, always do it and never get fed up or tired along the way. It's a sign of infidelity.

Assume you send texts a lot and you know your partner appreciates words of affirmation, when you suddenly stop, you begin to starve his or her emotions and it's a way that could gradually drain the love in the relationship.

So, it's better not to start at all than start and not finish.

4. Knowledge

Read relationship books. Attempt relationship seminars. Keep growing in your knowledge about love and relationship and make sure not to grow alone, carry your partner along all the time. When you read a book, pass it or you want to attend a relationship seminar, go together.

Finally, one person can't make a relationship work... it's a function of the both parties in love. Keep that in mind.
