Chapter One

The story began during the first semester of college. Lily was very excited about her new life and she allowed her heart to be open for everything. Living outside of her hometown was not only leaving the comfort zone, but also discovering the world outside of her crib. It was learning how to grow up by herself, how to have freedom with responsibility so that one day, after experiencing everything she could, she would least try to be a little bit as wonderful as her mom was.

Even though the classes were crazy, she was one of those types of people that don’t study that hard and in the end get good grades. She was a live life open person. A very intense person. Very attractive, even though she didn’t know that. A very warm person, easy to make friends, easy spoken, a vivid lover. She loved to party, went to a bunch of them all the time. Nothing to fear, nobody to worry about. Her happiness was deep, she was involved with the new spectrum of life. It was a dream come true. Everything was perfect.

Then it happened…

One day in class, sitting in the front line, the professor decided to mix two different classes in one. Then, she looked back and there he was; a weird looking boy with big beautiful eyes staring at her. Their eyes crossed at the exact same time. She got curious; who was this guy?! He wasn’t the prettiest guy in the world, but he had something special, she could feel that…

After class he came to her and introduced himself. His name was Peter, three years older than her. He sounded smart and gallant. Ambitious and knowing what he wanted. She looked at his arms and she could see his thick veins coming out of his arms, and she imagined how his touch would be. She looked at the way he talked, and imagine how his mouth would feel on hers. But they just talked. She needed to take the bus; she ran for it and he followed her and on the way asked for her number. She said it out loud, only once. He got it.

He didn’t call; well, it was okay, they'd just met and she wasn’t looking for anything serious with him, or anybody else.

On another day, they meet again, and again, and again, and started hanging out every day, in between classes, during classes, during lunch, any time they could. They became really good friends. They studied together, always sat together around people… everybody knew something was going on, but nobody knew what.

One day he asked her to go to a dance party; she said no. He respected that. Then he asked another day and she said no again, and he respected that. But he didn’t give up, he never did. He was waiting for the day she would say yes. And one day she did.

They went to the party as two really good friends wanting to have a good time together. They danced all night long. However, during the last dance, their eyes crossed again and a feeling came out of both hearts… they pushed each other away, laughed, and decided to go home. But he didn’t give up. He knew something was up and asked her to go to his house to have a drink. She loved wine.

They were having really good conversations, they always had something to talk about. It was never silence. Lily was laying in one bed and Peter was in another. Then, one more time, he decided to be friendly and asked her to lay down by his side. She did; they were friends and that was all. And between conversations, their eyes crossed again… and they finally kissed.

It was a mix of pleasure, affection, their kisses fitted in a way they would have never imagined. Goosebumps all over their bodies; he was touching her in a way she had never been touched before, she wanted to give everything to him, they both could feel their hearts going crazy, they could not breathe and at the same time they were breathing together. But they just kissed.. She decided she was not ready for that emotion, because you know she had an ex boyfriend with whom she was still in love, and she didn’t want to be that easy. The “macho word,” you know.… then around 5 AM, she left.

And that is when the hurricane began…

It seemed like their days would only start when they were in each other's arms hugging each other. He was calling her every day, three times a day, and the calls were two to three hours long. It was almost impossible to be without seeing each other. They even missed classes sometimes to be together. Not to be kissing, or anything, just be together. She was feeling the best sensation of her life.

Until the day finally arrived and they had their first night together. She never felt so much passion; their bodies were perfect for each other. They bonded. He touched her with his veins showing off exactly in the way she imagined, he took space all over her body like he had ten hands and each one of them were in a different place. Nothing compared to what she was expecting… everything was more intense, more passionate, more personal, intimate; they didn’t even sleep. They wanted more and more. He was so soft, so kind, like it was her first time again. It was perfect.

Then, it was every day. Any time they could they were having sex, everywhere, even through the phone. And it was like that for a long time. It was beautiful, it was magic… on the other hand, it was devastating.

But one thing you guys don’t know: he had a girlfriend. And Lily knew, since the beginning. Lily asked about his girlfriend before and he always said it was a terrible relationship and the girl lived far away from him.

Then, Lily realized what she was doing, and decided to end everything. He didn’t want to, but as he was always very charming and gallant, he respected. Only on that day…

He kept calling her, day after day, wanting to see her, wanting to talk to her; every day in school he would find her, but she would just talk for 5 minutes and leave. They could not handle being together; their bodies were asking for more. Like they were the fuel for each other. And because of this feeling, she was trying to avoid him. But he never gave up.

It was like that saying: “if you play with fire too much, you will end up getting burned.” Well fellas, they did; or, she did.
