#MyWorstDate

Went like this...

Back in high school—I want to say my freshman year of high school, to be exact—I went on what I thought would have a been a fantastic date! Now at first, everything was great! I felt great, thought everything was just going perfect for me until I soon had my eyes on a certain guy, who, at the time, was considered one of the "popular" guys. Now, me being "cocky" in high school, I thought it was no problem to show everyone I could land a date with him. By the end of the week from introducing myself and just talking and hanging out during school...I LANDED THAT DATE! I felt like a million bucks & thought I was cool to be going on this date, let me tell you! To top it ALL off, he not only asked me out on a date, but it was a Valentine's Day date! So again, here I am thinking I'm extra special. Boy, who was I kidding....

So now, as the day finally comes, he comes and picks me up at my house. Here I am telling my dad, "Dad this is so cool, a guy who drives & he's picking me up!" My dad wasn't having it at all, LOL. After a 30 minute interrogation and my dad taking a picture of this guy's license plate and all, I finally was allowed to go!

The guy on the way there was sweet talking me, telling me the restaurant we were going to & how he made reservations and more. I was there thinking, wow, he went all out for this date, & I felt extra lucky cause it wasn't just a regular, basic, average restaurant, it was considered a very expensive restaurant here in Miami! So then, we finally got there and we walked in. The hostess asked, "May I ask for the name the reservation is under?" The guy I'm with, standing RIGHT next to me at this point, goes and says the girl's name he was currently just seeing! My face was in complete shock! I decided not to be immature, didn't say a single word; nothing. I went along with the date to have the waiter put a plate in front of my face, and I didn't order a single thing. So my date had to pay almost 100 bucks just for that plate with nothing on it being put in front of my face!

Now I do think he deserved it. So then, later on the next day, I see that he was tagged on social media in another picture from Valentine's Day, WITH ANOTHER GIRL! At this point I'm not even shocked anymore, haha. But I was young and wanted to get even. So knowing back in high school I usually got people to like me, even just with my personality—because I'm very outgoing and I'm great to hang out with—I made him eventually get into liking me, because I acted like nothing was wrong, nor did I tell him I knew anything!

So at the end of this whole story, I got with his best friend! Oh well...it really just proved what he lost and I actually ended up dating his best friend for a while after that...and yes, that ruined their friendship. That I did feel bad for, but, well, things happen, & that is my worst date ever!
