Love

It’s 2018. Love these days seems like it doesn’t exist. The word love is very over used. It might have even lost its meaning. Many might not even know what it is. Or have never felt it. I’m here to tell you what it is.

What is LOVE? How do you know you are in LOVE?

Love is a very complicated feeling. Love can be many things. It can come in so many different forms. Love is an emotion that we all feel, or have felt at some point in our lives. Love is very powerful. It can lead to an overwhelming sensation of happiness, excitement, pleasure, or sadness, anger, and even depression. To know if you are in love you are thinking of this person all the time. Your heart starts beating at the thought and possibility of seeing them. You begin to worry about what you are going to wear. You think of what you’re going to say. You laugh excessively. Your heart flutters when they say your name. You’re thrilled when you get to talk to this person. To know you are in love is to look at this special person, point out every flaw, and still wonder how they’re still perfect for you.

TOXIC LOVE

This is something I wish no one would have to go through. TOXIC love is dangerous. It can damage your mental health. It might leave you emotionally hurt. It can take years for you to feel ready to even get back into a relationship. There are trust issues. What is TOXIC love? Toxic Love is when you are willing to do anything for your spouse in order to please them. It won’t make you happy, but you’d do anything to keep this person happy. Toxic love is your brain telling you that you and your spouse used to be compatible so now you’re addicted to the idea of being together. When you are so used to this person that you’re too afraid to go and find someone new. Stay away from this TOXIC love.

Does Age Matter?

When I say if age matters, I don’t mean how many years you’re apart from your spouse. What I’m trying to say is if you can you fall in love at any age? Personally I believe that you can. Like I said, love is very powerful and can overwhelm you with so many different emotions. We are all human, we fall in love. Your age does not tell you when you can or can’t fall in love. It all depends on how mature you are. You cannot say you are in love just because you’ve seen this person once. Or because you like the way they look. IF you are really in love then you’ll know. It doesn’t matter what others think. You don’t live your live to please them.

Why “Shooting Your Shot” Might Not Work

A couple days ago I posted a picture of myself on social media. A person I have never spoken to texted me and said that I was beautiful. Of course I said thank you. Although this person attempted to continue the conversation. It was a friendly conversation. Then all off a sudden they texted if I had a boyfriend. I was shocked because we weren’t talking about relationships, and this person brought it out of the blue. As they say he attempted to “shoot his shot”. In which a person attempts to ask you out. Personally I wouldn’t like to say I fell in love with someone online. I said no to this man and he then asked me out. I politely said no. Although, this person kept trying to ask me out, I just politely said no. The point I am trying to give here is that there isn’t much hope in a relationship with someone you just met. You cannot ask someone out if you have never talked or tried to see if you would even have a connection. Just some advice, talk to the person, see if you guys can become friends before taking it further. Don’t take a big risk, go out, and realize you have nothing in common.
