You can feel it in your gut when something’s missing. You want to run away from that feeling, because you want to convince yourself that everything’s fine, that you’re fine, and that you have everything you need. I was that girl. I was sure of the fact that my heart was completely intact, and I didn’t need anything else to complete it.

So I woke up on a random April morning toward the end of my junior year and stumbled into my religion class. And there was Noah, sitting in the back row, half asleep. After that, there wasn’t a single thing in my world that was the same.

No one in my life thought it was beneficial to tell me that I was enough. But I soon learned that it was the single thing I truly needed to hear, and he was the first to tell me. Noah is The Valley's most loved, and he definitely lives up to the title. He's incredible in so many ways and talented in so many different things.

One of a kind and crazier than most, Noah is the type of guy you'll want to keep around as long as you possibly can. He is one of the sweetest guys I've ever met, always there when you need him, no questions asked.

He’s also one the strongest people I’ve ever met. Noah has to put up with things that others don't; different labels and ideas that not everyone understands. He's one of the very few people I've met that can truly handle all of it. It's a pretty big weight, but I admire the fact that he's strong enough to carry it. If you've ever met someone that you believed could change your life, put your faith in them. You can trust me, because Noah changed mine.

I love knowing that he’s always going to be there through anything and everything. I’ve asked him more than once not to go anywhere, not to leave. That’s exactly what he did, he’s been constant and consistent throughout our entire friendship. According to him, he’s my favorite. And since he does happen to be The Valley’s most loved, I guess I can’t help but agree with him. With that said, here’s a couple of reasons why.

Noah, you’re my favorite because you're 100% you, 100% of the time. You dance funny when everyone's watching and you're loud when everyone's listening. You defend the people you love and even the ones you don't know. You're strong when everyone expects you to be weak. You never let people's doubts get to you. You get up and prove them wrong, every single time.

You're my favorite because you're literally everywhere. Some people just have one talent, one thing they thrive in, one single thing that they can do, but not you. That's what I meant by everywhere. You can go from the highest point of something amazing to the highest point of the next. Every talent you have is as close to perfect as it gets.

I remember when I told Sam Bishop that he was my favorite. You were offended. So you told me, and I quote, "Sam doesn't make you smile like I do". Well Noah you're completely right, he doesn't, no one does, that'll never change.

You're my favorite because you have an unbelievable voice. I love music for millions of reasons, and a lot of those have everything to do with you.

You're my favorite because you put up with me better than most people. I’ve never given you a reason to remember me, but you did anyway. You're my favorite because I know that when I'm not okay, you're there to make it okay. I don't know why. I never ask why. I just say thank you. You're one of my best friends. You're one of the most amazing people I've ever known. You'll continue to be my favorite...always.
