Not the Place, But the People

We all dream about visiting places; there is nothing more exciting than experiencing the freedom traveling gives us, in addition to exploring different cultures, tasting new flavors on foreign gastronomies, meeting new people and their behaviors while enjoying the great opportunity to learn and open our horizon. But, what about being in your dreamed place sharing that great moment with pure strangers? Does that sound like a great idea? Of course not! We all have to agree that no matter what places we dream about for visiting, there is always a loved one we wish to bring with us to share and create those memories that will last forever. The reason for that? It is extremely important for human beings to be surrounded by others, we were created to live with company, especially our love ones.

Many times we are worry about obtaining things, getting to know places and when we finally achieve the goal, there is still a feeling of emptiness, just because what make the greatness of any moment of glory is the joyful of sharing that with others.

Here a couple tips to keep in mind in our life journey:

• Always be aware of people around you and overall be very selective about who you choose to be friend with.
• Value every minute of quality time is granted to you, show your appreciation and gratitude.
• Invest time with your family and friends, make it a habit.
• Appreciate people, what they do for you, the affect expressed every day, do not wait until distance is in between to see the significance of genuine love.
• No matter where life takes you, always find the time and way to keep in touch with family and friends.
• And last but not least, never give more importance to things or places over people—things can be recovered, places can be visited in any second time, but people, the time lost is gone, no way we can bring it back, especially because sometimes is too late for some people are gone.

We have to make good choices every day, yes life is a matter of choice; choosing the right people, the right thing, the right moment, and of course the right decision in every circumstance. Having the ability to choose is priceless, we were created with freedom, but being conscious about what that mean is a task that required responsibility, integrity, and prudence.

Always look to build relationships in every opportunity you interact with people, but just with the right people, remember what we said, be selective on people you choose to be friend with and for relationships you already have, like little plants, always water them. If you don’t put attention and take care of, little by little, day by day, they deteriorate and you even will notice when and how it happened.

Remember, great companies creates everlasting memories, it is not the place or the thing, but the person or people you are sharing that moment with. When I was a child I used to dream on things I would like to have or places I would like to visit, some of them I already accomplished, but something life had showed and proved to me, it is that every time I had been on that moment, I always wished for someone in particular to be there with me to experience the satisfaction or the joy, sometimes a have that great company next to me, sometimes I am still missing somebody. Live every moment intentionally, enjoy it and whenever possible plan to include that love one to live the experience together and create the greatest memory.
