Do you ever just fall head over heels for someone the moment you meet them? Well, this was the case for Scarlett when she met her love at the age of 20 years old. I know it doesn't seem like much, but since the moment she saw him, the world stopped spinning for her, and then she knew she couldn't live without him.

It all started one day when she was talking to her friend about the single life and how she didn't want it anymore. She was the type of girl who craved affection and wanted someone special in her life like everyone else had. She felt like time was moving way too fast, and she couldn't catch up to the pace of marriage and kids that everyone was having. Don't get me wrong, she had a lot going for her—head of her job, a good living situation, she looked good, had good friends—but one thing was missing, and it was a relationship. So, her friend showed her this app to meet new people and she browsed for weeks trying to find Mr. Right, but she was losing hope that he was not out there. But one day, a match came up and she messaged him immediately. They talked for hours and hours, and for weeks, she couldn't get the smile off of her face, thinking about one day meeting him. So, one day they finally met up. She was her usual awkward self around him—like she is around everyone she meets for the first time.

They spent the evening at an amusement park, which was different then her usual dating ideas, so in the back of her mind, she knew he was different. They walked, talked, and rode a bunch of rides. For her, it was the most fun she had in months and she couldn't get enough of it. As the night was ending, they ended it on top of the Ferris Wheel where they had their first kiss, and man, did Scarlett feel sparks with that first kiss. They spent hours after that getting to know each other more, and a month later, they were still seeing each other. Scarlett couldn't be happier. They officially started to date and she said to herself, "Wow this is what real happiness feels like and I finally have my happy ending." After so many years of searching and failed relationships, she found the one and actually saw a future with him. Every night they talked on the phone and they would text throughout the whole entire day. People would come up to her and say how happy she has been with him in her life and how well he treats her. Her family adored him, and he gave her the one thing that she always wanted: True happiness and satisfaction of her life, and for once, she loved life and was the happiest she could be.

It'd been three months and they had never really gotten into an argument before, until one day they actually did. They got into an argument and Scarlett completely shut down from the situation, and just walked away for the night with no communication between them. Scarlett had trouble talking through things that went wrong in her life, and all she could think to do in that moment was to walk away and fix it tomorrow. The next morning, there wasn't a lot of talking between the two of them, but when they did, he found out that Scarlett tried to commit suicide by taking a bunch of pills. Her boyfriend had enough of her shit and ended it with her. Scarlett was crushed and she couldn't accept that it was over; she gave him space for a couple of days, but couldn't let him go. They lost contact for a month, and out of nowhere, he started to message her again, but she ignored it at first because she was so hurt from the situation. She didn't want to put herself in another one, but she ended up doing it again anyway. They tried to make it work, but at the end, everything he said to her was a lie. He said things like he was lying the whole time, that never loved her and he was just lonely. Things he said just broke her heart into two, and to this day, she still doesn't know why he pushed her away like that out of nowhere. To this day, she doesn't know if she will ever heal from losing the love of her life.
