Let’s start out 3 years ago with a kid named Tyler. He was just out of a relationship with a girl who he knew wasn’t good for him, but for reasons he had to stay. He was heartbroken and depressed and just wanted a friend to talk to. He ended up getting on a dating app where he met lots of people but none of them meant anything. Until one day he was about to delete the app when he saw a picture of the most beautiful girl he had ever laid his eyes on. So, he decided to message her, hoping and praying that she would message back. Her name was Kady.

How It All Started

Tyler couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw her name come across his phone. As all new people talk for the first time, it was awkward. It was short little getting to each other conversations for awhile. Then once they knew each other a little better, he started trying to flirt. He wasn’t the best flirt by any means, but she went a long with it. They talked about meeting up and seeing each other but they were only kids and they thought there was a lot more distance between them than there really was. They talked like this for awhile, until Tyler’s worst fear happened.

The Drifting Apart

This is when it gets a little sad. Tyler was heartbroken, again. Why would he be so upset over somebody he just met and barely knew? Well, because from the first minute he laid eyes on first picture of Kady, he knew he was in love. It was love at first sight for him. He finally found that one special person he’d been looking for. He woke up every morning and went to bed every night with a smile and a happy heart. He knew they were both kids then and deep down he also knew that they would never make it work at that time. They stayed in touch off an on but eventually fell apart completely.

The Big Mistakes

After completely drifting away from one another, Tyler and Kady met other people. These other people honestly made them happy for awhile, but little did they know they were both in for a big surprise. Let’s start with Tyler’s, he met a girl named Lexi. Now, he should’ve known to run from the first day they hung out, when she had almost got him into a fight. However, he’s not that kind of guy. He wanted to give her a chance. So he did. Tyler and Lexi were great for awhile, they were happy and everything seemed perfect. After awhile Tyler started to realize who she really was. Lexi was a manipulative and controlling person with a MAJOR attitude problem. She constantly tried to change who he was and would guilt trip him into getting her way. She had problems with her dad; she wouldn’t take it out on anyone but Tyler. Being mentally, emotionally and physically abused he still stuck around. Why? Some might say Tyler is drawn to “broken people” who he tries to save, but in all reality Tyler was the broken person. The real reason he stuck around? He was too hurt to leave. Yes, she treated him horrible, but she was also the only person who gave him any attention and that’s all he needed at the time. He just wanted someone to love him and someone he could be around. He believed that she loved him, even though she had a really poor way of showing it. Finally, he couldn’t take it anymore. He left her. Now let’s take a moment to talk about Kady and her boyfriend. Pretty much the same thing that happened with Tyler, happened to her.

The Moment that Changed His Life

Tyler couldn’t believe what happens next. After being apart from the big mistakes for merely a month, they found each other again. Almost a year later he messaged her. At first it was just to say happy birthday, he didn’t think she even remembered him. So he asked her, and when she said yes his heart skipped a beat. Once again everything started out casually and a little awkward. After another month went by the flirting started again. Before they knew it, they were in love. Kady was the first to say it, she said, “I think I’m falling in love with you.” That’s when Tyler knew he had her. He never stopped loving her, maybe that’s why he was never truly in love with Lexi. They would continue to flirt until the best day of his life came.

They finally did it. Tyler and Kady finally found out a way to meet each other in person for the first time. It was at a haunted house, but to Tyler it was magical. He saw her first as she was going through the line, so he didn’t get a chance to do anything until she came out. Once she finally did it was his chance. He could barely speak enough to say hi. In that moment of laying eyes on her for the first time in person, he was speechless. Kady was the most gorgeous girl Tyler had ever seen. They hung out while he was still in line but it was awkward. They both tried to make small talk, but neither knew exactly what to say. Soon after she had to leave. As soon as she left Tyler had to text her and tell her how special the night was. Then he finally asked the magic question. And she said yes.

The Present

Almost 4 months later, Tyler and Kady are still together and happier than ever. Yes, they have the typical relationship problems but that’s not stopping them. True love is not something you throw away over an argument. They both want the same things, marriage, a family, a life together. Tyler is in love with his best friend and better half. He would do anything in his power to make sure she’s happy and knows how much he loves her.
