Thoughts on Women: Journal 1-18-18

Women are awesome. Awesome in the true sense of the word’s definition. They leave me awestruck at the things they do, overcome and think about. From what I have observed about women (I am a man so I could just be talking out of my ass) they have a sense of equality amongst themselves. It takes both a man’s and a woman’s genetics and sexual reproductive organs to make a child, BUT women literally harbor life inside of them. They are one with their child, nourishing them until the day comes when their child enters into the world. On this day women go through unimaginable, excruciating pain, some even lose their lives; but they give life to a beautiful kids who are full of promise and potential to be good...

Women don’t only share the commonality of caring and bearing a child, they also have taken on the responsibility of caring for the child and teaching morals. Women are gifted with an excellent ability to formulate life into common practice. They have great situational awareness and have a perspective that is needed in almost all situations. Women are able to take their children and know what is best for them in life. They will raise a child tough yet with love, preparing them for the terribly unfair world that holds vast amounts of beauty. Women are less likely to act rashly, which makes them Godlike while raising children. They can keep a sense of rationality when faced with an irrational situation, situations that occur with children and life all too often. They are easily able to navigate through these situations so that the fewest possible people get hurt in any way. This rationality makes women more likely to learn easier and be more open-minded. Children act in the same way and need women as a guide to help them wander their curiosity without fear.

This is, in my inexperienced opinion, is why we have so many kids with mental health and disciplinary problems. The amount of maternity leave that women are granted after having a child, 12 weeks for only certain individuals with certain jobs, is extremely short, border-lining on cruelty. In the best case, a woman has three months to start the baby’s life. Three months to primarily focus most of their attention on a precious human life. A child’s most important year for developing is its first year. In a baby’s first year, they are developing all their senses, their immune system, and a comprehension of cause and effect. The cause and effect is the most important part because this is the foundation for right and wrong. This development occurs mainly after seven or eight months. How are our infants suppose to learn the foundations of right and wrong in society when we only allow mothers to take at most three months off to raise their child?

I dream to meet a woman I am worthy to provide for. One that will teach my kids right and wrong, how to love, how to be curious without harm, how to learn and love it, how to care about something with a passion necessary in this life. I dream that she will accept me and not be my other half but be a whole that I can rely on. A whole that I want to spend the rest of my life with, who will be allowed into my life like no one ever has before.
