To His next Girl,

I know you probably hate me and we haven't even met, I get it, it's normal. I'm sure I will be a little resentful when I first find out about you too. I don't want you to be intimidated by our pictures together as they are only memories of the past. You will never have to worry about me texting, calling or being around, but there are a few things I want you to know since you are his person now.

First off, his big blue eyes will make you fall for him instantly but don't worry about falling too hard or too fast, he will always be there to catch you, he will be there to hold you at 3:29 AM when you feel like you're falling apart and restless. In your dark days, turn around and he will be there, you will find light together, I hope you're there for him in the same way too.

He will spoil you to the maximum and make you feel like a queen, but the amount of money spent is priceless when you see how much you value time with him.

You will come to realize what excites him and how he acts like a child with a giggle in his laugh. He laughs mostly at things that people would find offensive but don't take it to heart, you'll probably end up laughing mostly at his unique, quirky smile. You will start saying his little catch phrases without even realizing it.

You'll learn all of his favorite things: action movies and TV shows along with the horror genre, Reese's Pieces, the color red, Fortnite, amusement parks, penguins, I'm sure you'll figure them out with time and it'll be stuck like glue in the back of your mind. You will learn that he doesn't like coffee or seafood. You will never look at him and only see skin.

You will see that he enjoys going to the movies more than drinking. You will see him drunk, you will notice he has a temper, but don't be scared, he would never lay a finger on you. Just trust me, give him space and he will come back to you. He has such strong character, you will rarely see him cry but when you do, it'll kill, I won't lie. Hold him tight and tell him you're there for him. When you're out, his eyes will be locked on you and you'll feel like the only girl in the room. He will make you see the universe on a whole new level.

When he falls in love with you, you will know just by his touch—it'll make every single fear disappear, you will feel so safe in his arms, you will sleep better at night. He'll reach for your hand and your fingers will interlock perfectly, like a puzzle missing its piece. I can guarantee you'll blush all the time. He's not one to advertise you all over social media unless you ask, he won't tell you he loves you all the time but note that you cross his mind often.

He is confident enough to create his own dreams, but is easily unmotivated. It's your job to tell him how smart, handsome, and capable he is of achieving his goals. He won't believe you but don't give up. He will tell you his past and mistakes, take his hand and let him know you aren't judging him. Always work with him, never against him. Support him and I promise he will support you throughout whatever.

He is a better person because of what he has been through and he has found YOU through failed relationships. I hope you love each other in the way you deserve. I hope he's honest with you as he never was with me. I hope you support each other through everything, make sure you let him know that you're there for him, don't let him conceal his feelings as he did with me. You both deserve a fairy tale ending.

I really don't hate you, if anything, I'm jealous. I know you're a great girl because he will look at your heart before he looks at your appearance. I want to ask one thing of you...Don't hurt him the way he hurt me. If I could wish the pain I felt upon him, I still wouldn't do it. Please don't change him. When I say, "I hope it works out for you," I truly mean it. I wish you both all the best.
