Vivian

So I originally had the picture of you in the honors college looking like you were heading off to war, but I wasn't able to get it uploaded. *big tear* But I want to still remind you: Don't you dare forget about me when you're famous, you'll always be a Swedish orphan in my camera roll.

This is Vivian. She is a wonderful friend, a talented girl, and a comic that we thrive off of knowing. I never cease laughing around this girl, whether it is a funny meme or telling each other stories or even just laughing at our past mistakes. She is an old soul with a caring heart. Vivian knows how to be good at literally everything in her life, so it's always encouraging to know that our country will be in good hands one day. (Vote Vivian 2045!)

Vivian has seen me at my worst and seen my at my best this year. I had the privilege of going on spring break with her, but our trip didn't just magically happen; Viv and I had to force our other two friends to help us finalize a plan and make it happen. I'm forever thankful that she understands the anxiety that I get when a plan isn't being made and how stressful it can be to juggle a million things at once.

Over spring break, Viv and I spent nearly every night in the same bed due to our sleeping arrangements (love ya Vivi, but not like that), and by the end of the trip, we had annoyed the heck out of each other.I think as soon as we got back to school, we spent a solid 48 hours doing our own thing because we needed a break from each other. Let me make this clear: We had an amazing time on spring break and our friendship grew deeper and stronger, and we made so many memories, but I tell this part of the story to look back and realize that even when we annoy each other, we will always be friends. I always have her back and I know she always has mine.

But while we're at it, let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

I met Kassidy, Vivian's roommate, at our orientation over the summer, so when we got to school, I was excited to meet this awesome girl's roommate who was supposedly just as awesome. And heck yeah, she lived up to that expectation. Our friendship really got to be so great because of how much time I spent (and still spend) in her and Kass's room. This is how I figured out how funny and amazing Vivian really is.

Viv, you never cease to keep a positive outlook on life. I really don't know how you do it, you juggle a thousand different things everyday and can still find time to take care of yourself. It is encouraging to be around you because of these amazing qualities. You carry yourself with confidence and have let me in more and more throughout the year. (I swear one day I'm gonna crack you, you'll have no choice but to tell me your deepest, darkest secret hehe.) You have been there for me at my lowest lows this year and you always remind me that tomorrow is a new day.

I truly can’t wait to see where you go over the next few years and how you blossom here at school. I know you will do amazing in whatever you end up doing. (*cough* films *cough*) You will continue to love people the way you do, and support everyone around you the way you do. You will become a better version of yourself every single day and I can’t wait to see how you will grow because you’re already so great now.
