What A Complete Disaster

Worse Date Ever

Sometimes alcohol and first dates just don't mix

I think everyone at one point and time can say they have had some pretty lousy dates with some unappealing human beings. I think I may have the story to beat all stories.

My worst date ever came a few years ago when I met the guy who is now my ex. He and I met through an online social media outlet called "MeetMe". He was a former Marine aspiring to become a DJ. I had a bunch of hookups in the local clubs due to having friends who owned a few.

I decided I would take him out one Saturday night in order to introduce him to my friends in order to hopefully help him to get his foot in at least one if not a few doors.

First club we stopped in I knew everyone from the owner to the bartender to the DJ.

While making our rounds through the club we would stop so I could introduce him to everyone whom I knew. We finally made our way to the bar where I introduced him to my friend who was behind the bar that night. While she and I were chatting my date was doing something he shouldn't have been doing. Turns out he was grabbing the asses of other women in the club.

One of the women actually screamed at him and made a scene about it (which I don't blame her for doing) it ended with her slapping him. I had ignored the yelling because that type of shit happens in clubs all the time. I only took notice after my friend the bartender noticed my date being slapped by some random chick. I proceeded to leave the bar area and make my way over to where my date and the random chick were still standing. I inquired as to what the issue was and the chick proceeded to explain to me how my date was a perverted scum bag who had grabbed her ass and then proceeded to deny it.

I turned my attention to him and asked him for his version of what had happened and he told me that he hadn't touched her at all and she had bumped into him as he was going to grab for his wallet so he could find his debit card to pay for our drinks. The chick starts screaming once again this time attracting the attention of everyone around us including this huge guy who as luck would have it turned out to be the chicks boyfriend.

Needless to say words were exchanged between my date and the chick's boyfriend. I finally got pissed and walked away. I went back to the bar and ordered myself a drink and a couple of shots of tequila. My date found me a little later and decided to have himself a few drinks.

Fast forward to the end of the night. We stayed til closing time. I had had a bit too much to drink and I was still upset about the whole ass grabbing situation. My date had had a few drinks but swore he was not impaired and was okay to drive us home (I had planned on renting a hotel room (he was really cute and I had hoped to keep the party going a little longer) but after everything that went down I had decided against it.

We argued all the way back home. He got so mad he slammed on the braked causing me to be thrown forward and hitting my head off of the dash (yes I was wearing a seatbelt). I immediately became dizzy and began feeling sick. He pulled into a gas station so I could use the restroom (he didn't want me tossing my cookies in his precious car).

After coming out of the bathroom I was immediately barraged with nothing but criticism for the way I walked away from him and left him to defend himself against the accusations that were tossed at him. I was also screamed at for him not getting offered a gig and I was also criticisized for the way I was dressed and for daring to leave him to his own devices while I socialized with my friends.

He came over to me, grabbed me and began shaking me which caused me to throw up all over his shoes. This infuriated him more and he finally slapped me. The gas station attendant finally came out to see what was going on. My date then tossed his car keys at me and began walking away.

The gas station attendant was having none of this so he yelled to my date that he could not leave his car there or it would be towed. My date called out as he kept walking that I could drive myself home with the car and he would come for it in the morning. I looked at the attendant and began crying and telling him that I would not drive the car due to being intoxicated.

The attendant proceeded to head back inside the store but returned a few minutes later with his cell phone in hand. He called out one last time for my date to come get his car or he was going to call the police. My date finally turned around and started heading back in our direction.

Not a word was said all the rest of the way home. I was actually looking forward to going home and getting far away from this dude.

The next day I woke with bruises on my shoulders, my face and my head.

I never knew a date could go so wrong so fast. What was supposed to be a fun night out turned into a complete and total disaster. Needless to say, I will never go out drinking with a guy on a first date ever again!
