Fun fact: Part of this was in a dream I had but I edited it to make it more of a story.

For my birthday I took Jared and Sylvia to Six Flags. After going on the Spinning Dragons, we walked to go to the Zumanjaro, the tallest drop tower in the world. We waited in line for around thirty minutes laughing about how scared I was. Sylvia was clearly scared but she covered it up with her usual "I'm not scared" personality. We got on, Sylvia on the right, Jared on the left, and me in the middle. When it shot up I was surprised to look down and see that my straps came loose. As I started to slip out, Jared and I grabbed onto each other but our grip wasn't strong enough. "I can't hold on. I-I'm sorry. I-I can't!" Realizing he couldn't for much longer, I decided to do one thing that I had never had the courage to do. I would kiss my crush in my last moments. He already knew, I mean he asked and when I tried to lie he could tell so I told the truth. He didn't care and told me what I already knew. He was gay. It was never going to happen. Yet I knew I was going to die so I might as well do something. "Before I let go, will you do one thing?"

"But you can't let go!!"

"Will you do me one thing?"

"Yeah I will." By this time we were both crying together and Sylvia hadn't noticed anything happening. She was too scared by the ride.

"Just kiss me." He hesitated and I wasn't surprised. But I was surprised that he started to pull me up to him before I did. Because we are kinda weak, it took a lot of energy but we eventually met. The world seemed in slow motion even though we were dropping at the velocity of a speeding car. We leaned in simultaneously and kissed. Maybe for five or ten seconds but how would I know, I didn't care. We both smiled and laughed. It was a relief that he laughed too, even if it was an uncomfortable laugh. We parted and smiled as our intertwined fingers slipped apart. Our faces fell to fear as we realized we would now have to face my inevitable fate of death. I started to slip further out of his hands and saw tears prick his eyes as I fell. Since Sylvia hadn't noticed anything happening based on the fact that the wind was loud and her eyes were tight shut, when I tried to grab her knee she flinched and my last chance for being saved was gone. I then fell down to the ground. I guess the rumors were true. Your life really does flash before your eyes when you're about to die. I can't imagine all of the faces of people around me. The tourists, children, workers. My parents, Sylvia. Jared. I hit the ground and everything went black.

Authors note: This isn’t my best work or very detailed but it’s fine.
