Living in a Bizarro World
We live in a time where I keep expecting to walk into a room and be greeted by, “Smile, you’re on candid camera!.” The world makes no sense to me and I am 55 years old. I have see a lot of shit in my life. I am not naive nor a bitter man. I see things how they are and judge them based on undeniable truths. Not opinions or means to gain any yardage in my attempt to score.

Afternoon Delight
I remember as a teen-age boy, I would love to sit on my bed during the afternoons when I was home, daydream and then fall into a nice nap. Daydreaming enhanced my imagination and boosted my confidence. (After all, I did strike out Reggie Jackson in the bottom of the ninth inning in game seven of the world series - the Met's finally beating the Yankees. Or accepted an Academy Award for my acting in the Best Movie of the year.)

Getting Older
When I was younger, so much younger than today… I was arrogant, judgmental and self important. I would be disgusted by what seemed to me to be a human giving in to aging and laziness. Be it the comb over to hide any baldness, the dying of hair to hide any aging and the stupid glasses which sat half-way down their nose as they walked around the office.

A Life in 120 Words
Slap on the back, climbing out and drinking coffee. Going to school, playing in puddles, ant on a leaf, baseball, record player, Dylan, Beatles and Reg. A man, love, love, love. A promise, a betrayal, man walking out with a suitcase and broken heart.
