Allow me to pose a query to you. Which came first, the brain or sleep? It goes without saying that many would respond intelligently to that query. However, new research suggests that sleep and the brain may not be as closely related as previously believed. Since creatures possessing extremely basic neural networks are still able to sleep, much like humans. Thus, what exactly is "sleep" if these organisms are capable of it? Numerous species require sleep, but they don't all go about obtaining it in the same way. Humans, for instance, typically sleep for several hours at a time, with teenagers getting the most sleep.

Are your new Memories Replacing your old ones?
Most likely, you can't recall the exact day of your birth. You most likely don't recall much from those initial years. And your entire childhood begins to become hazy as you age. Still, you're always creating new memories. which is fortunate because dementia is characterized by not doing that. The drawback is that creating space for those fresh memories could not be cheap. According to research, your old memories are being replaced by new ones.

Why do we rhyme?
We rhyme, but why? As in, why do we spend the effort? Rhymes need additional effort. However, they also have a benefit. Science is now able to explain why. All right, let's be serious: rhymes are very popular. They can even strengthen our bonds with others and aid in memory retention. Additionally, scientists have found out why rhymes have such a special power over us. Researchers have discovered ways to measure how enjoyable, relatable, and memorable rhymes are for individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
